It started at 2 AM.
Not a boardroom. Not a whiteboard. Just me, wide awake, thinking about every friend who keeps asking me the same question:
"How do I use this Ai thing without looking like an idiot?"
The problem with every Ai tool out there
They were built by 25-year-olds, for 25-year-olds. Chat windows. Blinking cursors. Fifty settings. Prompt engineering courses. Please.
Most people don't want to learn a new language to write a professional email. They want a button. Big one. That says exactly what it does.
So I built it. In one day.
Paste your rough text on the left. Pick a button in the middle. Polished output appears on the right. That's the whole app.
- 1Type your dumb shit. Grammar doesn't matter.
- 2Pick a button — Save My Ass at Work, Don't Be a Dick Email, Snap Back, whatever fits.
- 3Read the polished version. Tweak it if you want.
- 4Copy. Paste. Look like a genius.
Why the name SkiTTTalk™?
In Norwegian, Skitt means trash — or, let's be honest, shit. SkiTTTalk™ is what you do with the first draft that belongs in the bin: you talk it out, clean it up, and turn it into something you can actually send.
The three T's? That's the sound of a message getting polished — SkiTTTalk™.
And yes, the real English name is basically "trash talk." But that URL is parked in a GoDaddy auction I can't afford yet, so we're using the Norwegian version until I win the bidding war. Until then, SkiTTTalk™ it is.
And yeah — I recorded the whole thing.
Camera on my face. Screen recording running. From the 2 AM idea to a working app people can actually pay for. The whole build is going up on YouTube.
Because if a guy my age can spin up a real Ai product in a day, so can you. That's the point.
